Terms of Use
The rules of the game (literally)
By downloading, installing, or playing Prism Runner: Quantum Leap, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. License to Play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play Prism Runner on your Apple devices. This is a license, not a sale - we retain all ownership rights to the game.
✅ You Can:
- Play on all your personal iOS devices
- Share high scores and achievements
- Stream or record gameplay
❌ You Cannot:
- Reverse engineer or modify the game
- Use cheats, bots, or exploits
- Resell or redistribute the app
2. Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to play. If you're under the required age, you need parental permission.
3. Game Center & Leaderboards
Fair Play Rules:
- Your scores must be achieved through legitimate gameplay
- No exploiting bugs or glitches for advantage
- Offensive nicknames may be removed
- We reserve the right to reset suspicious scores
4. In-App Purchases
Remove Ads ($2.99)
One-time purchase, permanently removes interstitial ads
Important: All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled according to App Store policies. Use "Restore Purchases" to recover your upgrades on new devices.
5. Advertising & Tracking
The free version includes ads via Google AdMob. The "Remove Ads" purchase eliminates most advertising, though optional rewarded ads may still be available for bonuses.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
When you first launch the app, iOS will display an App Tracking Transparency prompt asking for permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This is an Apple requirement for apps that use advertising.
- If you allow tracking: You may receive personalized ads based on your interests and activity.
- If you deny tracking: You will still see ads, but they won't be personalized to your interests.
Change Your Preference: You can toggle personalized ads on or off at any time in the game's Settings menu. You can also change your system-wide tracking preferences in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
6. Updates & Changes
We may update the game with new features, bug fixes, or balance changes. Some features may be added, modified, or removed. We're not obligated to maintain any particular feature indefinitely.
7. User Conduct
Prohibited Actions:
- 🚫 Attempting to hack or modify game data
- 🚫 Using the game for any illegal purpose
- 🚫 Impersonating others or the developer
8. Disclaimers
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DON'T GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE'RE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WON'T EXCEED WHAT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You can stop using the app anytime by deleting it.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
